Fortunately, the Edmond community along with Oklahoma City shines this time of year, boasting some of the region’s most notable craft fairs, farmer’s markets, fall and holiday festivals. Read on to learn what local events can be added to your weekend to-do list this year.

Providence Farms

Whether you’re a master gardener or an environmentally-conscious foody, this local gem offers everything from chemical-free, non-GMO produce to educational workshops. Stop in any Wednesday or Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and fill your cart with plump, seasonal fruits and veggies. If you want to brush up on certain skills, consider attending one of their monthly workshops, which cover activities like gardening, kids’ farm days, maintaining fruit trees, and making bath bombs. Santa Market Craft Show

Hit up the Downtown Community Center November 16th and 17th for this local favorite, whose proceeds benefit the Alzheimer’s Association of Oklahoma. Mistletoe Market

For a larger venue, head a few minutes into Oklahoma City and check out Mistletoe Market at the Cox Convention Center near the Myriad Gardens. This event runs from November 11th through the 13th and gives residents the opportunity to get all their Holiday shopping done in one exciting afternoon. Holiday Shopping Extravaganza

Make sure you set aside a whole afternoon for this one, held at the OKC Farmer’s Market November 11th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. With everything you could want in a seasonal festival, this event combines wine tastings and food trucks with live music and shopping. Earlywine Park YMCA Craft Fair

Don’t miss this free event held at the Earlywine Park YMCA (on May Ave.) November 17th from 9 am to 3 pm Browse through more than 50 booths packed with handmade accessories, sweet-smelling candles, and homemade goodies.
